      Give your child the opportunity to grow, explore, and have a blast at one or more of Bishop Reicher's summer camps. Each four-day camp is led by experienced coaches who bring their passion and expertise to every session—whether it’s dribbling on the basketball court, diving into volleyball drills, or building innovation in LEGO robotics.

    • Katy Bernsen Honored by Rotary Club

      Senior Katy Bernsen was honored at the 45th Annual Citizenship Awards Luncheon, sponsored by the Waco Rotary Club. She was recognized as one of the outstanding students at the event on Monday, March 24. The Waco Rotary Club has a rich tradition of service, and we are proud to see Katy recognized for her excellence and commitment.


    • Three Students Excel at HOT Regional History Fair

      Bishop Louis Reicher is proud to announce our students’ outstanding achievements at the Heart of Texas Regional History Fair at Baylor University on February 21:

      Caedmon Kirby - 2nd Place
      Weston Michalewicz - 3rd Place

    • Superior Ratings at TAPPS State Competition

      Congratulations to Stella Clafferty, Caden Soto, and Bryant Parker for their stellar performances at today’s TAPPS State Solo and Ensemble Competition at Concordia University in Austin! Each earned a Superior rating—the highest honor possible. Way to go, Cougars! Special thanks to our incredible Music Director, Bret Parker, for his unwavering support.

    • Success in Robotics Programs

      Congratulations to our Robotics Teams for their outstanding achievements at the FTC meet in Waco on January 11! Cougar Robotics advanced to areas with a big win. The Cougar Tech team clinched 1st Place in Robot Performance and earned the First Place Championship Award, while the Curious Cougars secured 2nd Place in Innovation. Special shout out to coach John Paul Bustamante for receiving the Coaches Award for his exceptional leadership.

      At Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School, our robotics program not only builds machines but also fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration—all rooted in faith and character development.

      Our talented high school students brought home six photography awards, and Ms. Angela Cuba earned a faculty award! Competing against 1A and 2A TAPPS schools from across Texas, our photographers impressed the judges with their creativity and skill.

    • Bishop Louis Reicher Seniors Honored with
      National Merit Recognition

      Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School is proud to announce that two students from the Class of 2025 - seniors Emily Vicha and Mercedes Villa - have received honors by the National Merit Recognition Program, part of the College Board's National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). This distinguished recognition is awarded to high-performing students who excel in academic achievement, surpassing the qualifying score for recognition and maintaining a cumulative GPA above 3.5. Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School is a college preparatory school in Waco for now over seventy years dedicated to educating the hearts and minds of our youth in the rich Catholic traditions and teachings of learning and faith. 


  • Eucharistic Miracles and Saints Pilgrimage to Italy

    • In recent years, students in Sister Maximilian Marie's Theology classes have longed to visit Italy's sacred sites of Eucharistic miracles and Catholic saints. Thanks to a generous grant from the Kennedy Foundation, this dream came true. On January 7, our Juniors, Seniors, and select Sophomores, along with chaperones, began a 10-day Eucharistic Miracles and Saints Pilgrimage. This transformative journey deepens their faith and inspires them to live as joyful witnesses to Christ.
