Students in grades 6 through 8 embark on a transformative journey of intellectual, spiritual, and personal development within the framework of Catholic classical education.
In these pivotal middle school years, we build upon the foundations laid in the Grammar stage and delve into the Logic stage, encouraging students to think critically, analyze information, and make connections across disciplines. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to engage young minds in literature, mathematics, history, science, theology, Latin, and language arts, fostering a love for learning beyond the classroom.
Middle school students actively engage in our Arts and Anthropology Enrichment Modules, designed to immerse them in a rich tapestry of virtues, unveiling the realms of joy, excellence, and beauty. These modules are not just isolated experiences; rather, they lay the foundation for a continuous journey of enrichment that extends from 6th to 12th grade.
As students progress through the grades, the Enrichment Modules evolve, expanding their scope to provide increasingly profound encounters with virtues. This deliberate progression ensures that students experience a dynamic and comprehensive exploration of the arts and anthropology throughout their middle and high school years. By participating in these modules, students not only broaden their understanding of various virtues but also cultivate a lifelong appreciation for joy, excellence, and beauty in all its forms.
Our faith remains an integral part of the middle school experience as a Catholic school. Students actively participate in weekly Mass, liturgical events, and retreats. Our commitment to nurturing the spiritual dimension of our students is interwoven with academic pursuits, creating an environment where faith and reason harmoniously coexist.
In addition to academic rigor, our middle school students have opportunities for leadership, service, and extracurricular activities. We aim to foster a sense of responsibility, integrity, and community engagement, preparing our students academically, morally, and socially.
