BLR Announces New Cheer Coach

August 10, 2023Mr. Weathersby, our Athletic Director, is pleased to announce that Bailey Guidry is the new high school cheer coach for Bishop Reicher. Bailey has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and brings a strong foundation in human movement and performance. As a dedicated competitive cheer coach, she has honed her leadership skills while mentoring athletes to success. She has combined her expertise with a passion for early childhood development to create engaging and safe learning environments as a Preschool Cheer and Tumble Program Director. Bailey has two decades of comprehensive cheer experience, encompassing both game day and competitive settings, which has given her a deep understanding of the sport's intricacies. Her two-year tenure on the competitive STUNT team at The University of Texas at Tyler further enriched her skills and competitive mindset. Additionally, Bailey serves as a judge for school cheer tryouts, ensuring fair and objective evaluations. Her diverse background and unwavering commitment make her the ideal person to lead our Cheer program, ready to positively impact our team and athletes.
