Bishop Louis Reicher Catholic School is pleased to announce that one of its very own alumni, Patrick Contreras, will be serving as the new head coach for the girls' basketball team. Coach Contreras is a highly experienced and dedicated professional with over two decades of coaching experience. He is passionate about helping young athletes achieve their full potential and has had a significant impact on many of them throughout his career.
Since 2013, Coach Contreras has specialized in coaching basketball, off-season, and track at the JH & HS athletics levels. Additionally, he previously coached various high school girls' basketball players in his summer select basketball club, Texas Heat. Contreras also has extensive experience coaching basketball at the youth level, having volunteered to coach at Waco Family Y (2010-2016), EOAC/Headstart (2009-2010), St. Louis Catholic School, and St. Mary's Catholic School (1998-2001) in Waco. Contreras fosters a positive and supportive environment for his athletes, emphasizing skill development and teamwork. He has a proven track record of helping athletes to succeed and reach their full potential both on and off the court.
In addition to his coaching expertise, Contreras is the Principal/Creative Executive of Creative Man Studio, a digital marketing agency located in Waco. He is originally from Waco, and is an alumnus of Reicher Catholic High School and Baylor University. Contreras lives in Waco with his wife, Delsia Viana Contreras, and their two daughters, Eliah and Elaina.
