The Cougar Tech FLL Team competed in the FIRST LEGO League Regional Competition on March 4 and advanced to the State Robotics Tournament next weekend. The team also won the 3rd place Core Value Award.

Kenzie Zander, junior, placed 2nd in Literary Criticism at the Midway UIL Tournament. To prepare for the tournament, Kenzie had to research, read, and write about works of literary criticism that included Frankenstein, the play Our Town, and Shakespeare’s sonnets.

Kathryn Hunt Hare (Class of 2008) was recently honored as Waco Cardiology Associates' "Employee of the Year." Kathryn is an RN and BSN at Waco Cardiology and is the nurse for Dr. Clay Barbin (Class of 2005).

Our amazing Cougar Robotics team had a fantastic competition on Friday. They competed in the FTC Waco League Champion and received the Motivate Award, earning them the advancement to Semi-Regional in Buda in February. Way to go, Cougars.
Triton Moore, junior at Bishop Reicher, was presented with the trophy for the Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week (Week 9) - Cougars vs. Bishop Gorman game. This prestigious award is awarded to athletes for their contributions on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.

This year the Bishop Reicher Bash is on February 25, 2023, on campus at the Monsignor Deering Activity Center. Guests will enjoy dinner, a performance by the Sloppy Joe Band, and a silent auction, including class projects. Check back for more information.
