Cafeteria Charge Policy
Students who are eligible for free meals are not allowed to charge. Students eligible for reduced meals can charge up to $5.00 for reimbursable meals before receiving an alternate meal. Paying students can charge up to $25.00 (PK3 – 8) for reimbursable meals before receiving an alternate meal. The cost determines the charge amounts for ten days of lunches.
No extras, such as the main entrée or vegetable, can be charged any time by any student unless they have money in their account.
Alternate Meal Policy
No student will go hungry during the school day at the Lower Campus. An alternate meal will be provided for a maximum of two (2) weeks, and then the administration will determine if circumstances require intervention. The meal may consist of a peanut butter sandwich, fruit, and milk.
The Cafeteria Manager will discreetly offer the student this alternate meal. The student will be charged the regular lunch price. No extras will be available to any student on the alternate meal plan.
Milk Break Policy for Lower School
Milk break is offered in the mornings for the lower school grades only. Milk break money will also be taken from the family account, and the cost of a milk break is $.50 per day charged to the account by the month. Families with a negative balance will not be able to have their children participate in milk breaks.
